Item recovered locally and sold AS IS. This auction is for a Nice Extech Model S3500T Thermal Printer w/labels + rolls & Serial Cable. This came in with a bunch of new items, but not sure if this is brand new or not. If you looked at it, it looks like it is brand new, but will sell as used because I am not 100% positive. Tried to find another like this, but couldn't find it on Ebay. I did look up an Extech website and they said that the Model S3750THS replaced this model. Since I could not find a users manual for the S3500T, I decided to pull up the S3750THS users manual to give me some information. Was able to find out a close sized power supply that was good enough to power it up and charge the battery. When initially plugged in, the yellow (charge) light came on, but after fully charged, yellow light went out. Measured voltage on the battery, and it was over 6.5VDC. Has a serial communications cable that also looks brand new. Has a DB-9 female jack on one end and an RJ phone type connector on the other end that plugs into the printer. Everything came in the original box, and on label on top of box said it is an EXTECH INSTRUMENTS S3500T DEVELOPER KIT. Has number 78118I1R-BTDEV on it also. List of items that came in the box are 78118I0R-1 - 3500T PRINTER, 7A100005  - BATTERY, 157120 - ADAPTOR, 5892RJD9 - SERIAL CABLE, 757061 - THERMAL PAPER 5 PACK, 757073L - THERMAL PAPER LABEL, and CD ROM - DEVELOPERS GUIDE. Looks like one roll of thermal paper is missing, power adapter, and the CD ROM also. The company that had this might have been making a model that is the same as this model, and this printer was just used to develop their own brand? Not really sure. I have seen items from this company that has made the same thing as another company, but has their name on it. I took an unused roll of paper, loaded it into the printer, and tried to do a test print. It did print out some information, but the print is not very dark, but sometimes very light. I don't know if the thermal paper is too old, the print head was not warm enough, dirty, or why it didn't print out dark. I only printed out info once to save on paper. Some info I could decipher is: 32K BUFFER EXTECH V0.50 (C) 2002   INTERFACE:SERIAL   IrDA is Installed   RS232 Mode 19.2.8.o.2#   DEMO PRINT   Resident Fonts and Typefaces   COURIER FONT 72 COLUMNS   COURIER FONT 64 COLUMNS   ROTATED FONT 36 COL (this is printed on its side). There is a section with the company name, address, phone #, fax #, ad http site. Then it printed CODE - 39 and then a smaller print Code - 128. I will leave this on the printer for your examination. This does not come with a power supply, but the S3750THS was powered by a 10V, 1.32A power supply with a barrel plug, so need something very close to this probably. Super nice looking printer, but since I can't fully test, will be selling AS IS. This is not a cheap printer. Thanks for your time. Will run auction for 7 days and if it doesn't sell, will double price and send to storefront. Buyer pays shipping cost, please see shipping statement before making any payment, thanks!
