This is an outstanding original 3 1/2hp hopper cooled Gould Shapley and Muir hit and miss gas engine.  It  is a large size engine for 3 1/2hp and is in excellent condition as can be seen in the photos.  It runs great and has a very unique fuel injection system on it.  It also has a very unique governor on it and coasts against compression like an Otto engine giving it a very distinct sound.  It has one very slight crack in the head which I don't believe leaks and also a very old repair on the fuel injector body as can be seen in the photos.  Otherwise it has no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I am aware of.  It has the original muffler, crankguard, oiler, and skids with it and retains a great portion of its original paint.  It has a brass bodied Webster K magneto on it.   These are very desirable engines and are sure attention getters at the shows!  These engines rarely turn up for sale and they are almost never this nice and original.  Check out a "youtube" video of one running and I think you'll like it!  The pictures really tell the story on this one.  You won't be disappointed in any way!  I can deliver this engine to LeSeuer, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, next year.  I can also ship it quite reasonably through Fastenal.  I can load it on a truck or trailer if you'd like to pick it up here.   It can stay here as long as needed for pick up as long as it's paid for.  I would appreciate a downpayment through PayPal upon purchase with the balance due in a cashier's check, money order, or cash within 1 week.  This engine was on an Ebay auction a couple months ago and didn't quite meet the reserve price.   This time it is selling with no reserve so bid freely and get yourself a very nice engine.   There haven't been many good engines on the market lately so don't miss it.   I can always be reached at 262-573-1931 if you have any questions or would like to talk about it.  Good Luck!
