The filter is Schott Infra Red Absorbing Glass, (Type KG3) with an attenuation level of 3.0 OD for IR above about 1,000nm. Being a glass it is insensitve to polarization or incidence angle, but will vary in attenuation slightly. Spec: Schott KG3, ND 3.0 OD+- 0.2 over 1000 to 3000nm. Thickness is 1.9mm, Size 12.5mm dia. Surface is Double Planetary Ground and Polished for very low TWD (aprox Lambda/10) If you are still not finding a good match, follow my links to Omega's Build a Filter.
