I only use it to shred my personal documents and occasional credit card, so I've never spent that much on one. I was intrigued to see that eBay had their own brand, and having been satisfied with some eBay Basics cables and such in the past was eager to get my hands on this shredder. I will point out a couple of things I noticed about this particular item that was different from others I've tried over the past. First of all, I really like the diagonal cross cutting instead of the straight line cutting my old one had. The diagonal cutting keeps the paper from jamming in the blades as was the case with my old one. I have shredded documents six pages at a time and this little guy had no problems chewing them up. I also like the feeder shielding on the top, which keeps things from falling directly into the shredder. This is a perfect shredder for basic home needs. I did not test the 6 sheet limit, but I did run around 200 sheets through it within the first hour. I also shredded 3 credit cards. No issues and it shredded everything making it unreadable.
