Passport DSL combines PPT VISION's powerful image processor with a scalable digital network of hubs, cameras and lighting to provide pristine images, data and triggers, even in "noisy" factory environments. Passport DSL comes with PPT~ Vision Program Manager (VPM1.) software interface. This graphical programming interface operates in the Microsoft' Windows" environment and requires no programming expertise. You simply set up inspection routines and control panels by arranging icons in an on-screen work space. Operators use a touch-screen or trackball to run the system during production. Passport DSL supports a network of up to 16 asynchronously functioning cameras that capture non-interlaced video images at rates up to 4,000 full frames per minute. Moreover, since Passport DSL incorporates a fully integrated Pentium-based PC, it can be easily added onto your factory network, giving you a full range of control and monitoring capabilities, and an easy way to import or export process information and images.
