This is a main crystal set 1x Nd:yag, and 1x KTP for up to 4 WATTS of single mode cherry red laser light at 659nm. It is a spare set for an extremely expensive medical laser used for cancer treatment. This wavelength is used in certain biomedical applications and is very close to the absorption peak of certain biomedical PDT dyes. The color would be very nice for laser light show use, and the single mode output would work well for feeding galvanometers with. This crystal set is extremely expensive and almost impossible to find. You need to supply the cavity OC and HR optic mirrors, but they should be easily found from large DPSS optic suppliers. An old Spectra Physics millennia pump cable that would make diode pumping the crystal to saturation a simple task. You could also make it lamp pumped with a photo flash tube from a disposable camera if high peak power is needed. I have lots of lasers and other unique stuff for sale this week.
