What is AislaCOOL® ? - AislaCOOL® is a Solar Ray reflecting coating use to dissipate heat and protect metal surfaces from oxidation. - AislaCOOL® is a fluid consistency product, formulated with solid acrylic resins and several chemicals additives. - AislaCOOL® is not a roof coating or waterproof material and is manufactured strictly in white (color), to keep its reflective properties. How does it work ? - AislaCOOL® is composed by different size loads that together can collect humidity in the environment to self clean and form a protective coating that is always white to reflect solar rays and protect metal surfaces from oxidation. How is AislaCOOL® applied? - It can be applied with spraying equipment (3300 psi pressure, 0.015 - 0.017 nozzle), brush, roller. Without diluting it. Types of surface where AislaCOOL® can be applied: - Asphalt, metal sheets, concrete, etc. Types of surface not appropriate to be covered with AislaCOOL®: - Surfaces containing water repellent, silicon sealers, etc. Surface should be accordingly adequate in order to apply the product. What benefits are obtained when AislaCOOL®is used? - Lower temperature of protected surfaces. Reduce structural movements in metal surfaces. - In metal surfaces temperature is considerably lowered in a minimum of 60 - 68 °F, the heat transferred to the inside is decreased. - Increase lifespan of metal surfaces due to its oxide inhibitor properties. Properties and Covering Power: - AislaCOOL® intense white coloring reflects solar rays up to 94%. Due to its hygroscopic properties, collects humidity from the environment and self cleans, to keep its whiteness during its lifetime. It stops oxidation on metallic surfaces so it s an excellent oxide inhibitor. - AislaCOOL® covering power is 485 to 540 sq. ft. per pail.
