RF Pro Touch RF Signal Generator The RF Pro Touch is a low cost, portable signal generator that integrates a TPI Calibrated RF board with a touch screen interface to give you a great portable signal generator. This portable RF signal generator is only 5" X 3" X 2" and weighs just 12 oz! The signal generator operates in three different modes: 1. A CONSTANT FREQUENCY AND POWER OUTPUT MODE 2. FREQUENCY SCAN MODE 3. POWER SCAN MODE Each of the scan modes has a programmable step delay from .5 seconds up. Automatic scans are configurable to loop over a frequency or power range forever or over the scan range each time the scan is invoked. The Manual scan mode steps each time the start scan button is pressed. The RF Pro Touch ports include the RF output, the Reference output, the External Reference Input, and the FM modulation input of the TPI RF Board. The rechargeable battery lasts approximately two hours with the RF on and the display lit, even longer when utilizing the configurable power management features, including screen blanking and auto shutoff timers. The RF board outputs frequencies from : 35 MHz to 4400 MHz with 1KHz resolution and very low phase noise: 1GHz 10Khz o set = -91dBc/Hz; 2.4GHz = -86dBc/Hz. Typical rms jitter is less than 0.4 ps rms. The performance of this low cost, portable device is comparable to very expensive signal generators. Output power can be set from 10dBm to -55dBm in 1dBm steps. The output power is calibrated to +/- 1dBm (90% +-.6dBm of target output power) over the full frequency and power range. Includes 5V power adapter. You can read the full data sheet here.
