Once fully cured, simply use any dry erase markers to write messages and erase. Easily customize a unique dry erase shape or create a dry erase surface that is larger than a standard board. This product is for Professional use only. Dry Erase Paint is a smooth, hard finish that creates a unique white or clear writeable-erasable surface. Dry Erase Paint is ideal for use on interior surfaces such as drywall and chalkboards. Read and follow the detailed application instructions enclosed in the kit. Highlights: Size: 1 Qt Color: Clear Industrial formula for ultimate durability. No cracking, peeling or yellowing. One coat coverage. One kit covers 50 sq. feet. Transforms walls & chalkboards into high performance dry erase surfaces. Application: Be sure to properly ventilate the area. Apply only when air temperature is between 50-90?F (10-32?C) and the surface temperature is at least 5?F (3?C) above the dew point. This coating can be applied using a 1/4" nap 9" woven roller or a dense foam roller designed to give a smooth finish. For edging, use a high quality brush designed for water-based coatings. Do not spray the Dry Erase Paint. Mixing ratio is 3:1 (Part B base to Part A activator) by volume. Pot life is 1 hour @ 77°F (21°C) & 50% RH. Thoroughly mix the base component (Part B) with a stir stick, add the activator, and mix for an additional 3-5 minutes. If using a power mixer, run at low speeds to avoid inducing air into the coating. No induction period is required. Can be recoated after 2 hours if desired. Note: After 1 hour, mixed material is no longer useable. A second kit will be required if applying two coats. Do not mix more material than can be applied within 1 hour. Allow the Dry Erase surface to cure for 7 days before using dry erase markers. Once the surface has fully cured, clean the painted Dry Erase surface with a dry erase liquid cleaner prior to first use of Dry Erase markers. Dry Erase makers may then be applied to the surface and then wiped off with an eraser or lint-free cloth. If after erasing, a hint of marking remains, simply use a dry erase cleaner or any other general household cleaner to remove marks. Do not use abrasive cleaners, pads, or cloths. Let surface dry before dry erase markers are used again. Dry & Recoat Times: Dry and recoat times are based on 77°F (25°C) and 50% relative humidity. Allow more time at cooler temperatures. Dries to touch in 1 hour, to handle in 2 hours, and can be recoated in 2 hours. Clean-Up: Clean brush and other application tools immediately with soap and water.
