The "Build-A-Lock" practice lock specifically for locksport! Created from a new OEM Schlage mortise cylinder with a "C" keyway. The cylinder is a 6 pin design. The shell of the lock has the top of the pin chambers threaded. Threaded plugs are included. These can be removed to remove the pins and springs from one or all chambers. This will allow you to easily to install pins in 1 or 2 chambers without disassembling the cylinder. You can add more pins as your skill improves. It comes with no pins installed. It's ready for you to pin it the way that YOU want! Also included is a matrix showing proper pin combinations. This will assure that you will have pin stacks that are tall enough to reach shear line. I include 30 color coded bottom pins of 5 different lengths. These are not necessarily lengths for this brand cylinder. 12 of 2 different length spools and serrated pins, and also 2 different standard drivers. With this supply of pins there are THOUSANDS of possible pinning combinations. A BONUS!!! A 5 pin Schlage key with matching pins for those that want to practice re-pinning or for making your own bump key.
