The circuit mainly serves for current spikes suppression when an appliance is switched on. The circuit  has a low  input  resistance after connecting  across the line of 230V AC, which  causes the circuit breaker disconnection or the fuse breaking, e.g. on toroidal transformers, power amplifiers, motors, inductive and resistance load. Higher internal  resistance  is secured by two in series connected termistors NTC 5R+5R=10R. Setting delay swtich of relay by JP2: 1s, 3s and 23s.  NTC are switched-over by relay, that inhibits redundant overheating  and U dropping on NTC. This secures NTC?s working life prolongation.The circuit and the appliance connection are protected by the VDR over-aged voltage protection and T16A current fuse. Parameters: Uin 80-150V AC, Imax 16A. Pmax 1760W. Fuse on board: T16A. Protection: VDR 275V AC, Thermistor: 2x 5 Ohm/10A. Size: 125x65x40 mm.Cu on board: 2x 105um.
