STRATTON Navy Blue 3XXX Beaver Police Security Uniform Campaign Hat Size 7 1/8" This is for a Lightly Used STRATTON BRAND, made in USA, quality Police or Security Hat. Though I don't see the Stratton name inside, but it bears their GOLD size tag and I recall that was it the brand when I got it. The hat has been owned by me a dozen years, so I know its history, what I can remember at my age. As we are changing to Tan/Green uniforms, I no longer have use for it. It is a quality item, no brand name in it. The hat is the standard campaign style - is regulation Navy Blue. This is the type used by most dark blue uniformed Police and Security type agencies that wear the trooper style hats. The hat is 3XXX Beaver (dry clean only) and is size 7 1/8" It has grommetted breather holes and a Single factory grommet hole to the front to attach a badge piece. As we used a two piece hat badge, I rough punched two small Horizontal side holes 1.5" apart for an eagle topped type piece as shown AND NOT INCLUDED. These holes can be properly covered or a piece larger than the 1.5" will cover them. The strap and inside band are leather, the outside ribbon is standard materiel. Condition: USED, VERY GOOD -- VERY GOOD used condition. Personal item of mine. Limited use, stored mostly in proper hatbox, so brim is flat and level. No color fade. There are two small holes either side of stock grommet hole in front. This fits a standard Eagle topped hatpiece and are not visible when worn with that or larger piece. Leather and band inside and out are good, no deterioration of the leather.
