         For sale, this Studer S40-12 CNC O.D.-I.D. Universal grinder, serial number 2101.11, manufactured in 1984, made in Switzerland.          Some of the technical data for this Studer S40-12 grinder are as follows,         Center height=  4.9/6.9"      125/175mm         Center distance= 25.6/39.4"   650/1000mm         Grinding length=  25.6/39.4"   650/1000mm         Wheelhead slide range= 45 degrees         Workhead swivel range= 0-90 degrees         Total weight of machine= approx. 7700 lbs         Grinding wheel size=  15"x3"x5"    RPM= 1500/1625/1800             Included with the Studer grinder are the splash guards, coolant tank, a work bench/cabinet with sliding drawers filled with various tooling, arbors, wrenches, dozens of i.d. grinding wheels of various types, face plates, and much more(see photos above). Also included are the manuals for the Studer S40-12 grinder, one of which has the schematics, the other having the description, technical information, programming examples, spare parts list, grinding technique section, and more. Note that the manuals are in English, German, and French.        This Studer Universal grinder is in used, currently non-running condition. We purchased this grinder quite a few years ago for a job that never materialized. Since then it has been in storage. Not to long ago, we powered up the grinder and had it running for a few days, until it stopped functioning. Not sure is the problem is electrical, software, or operator error and is being sold "as is". The machine can be inspected under power by appointment only.        The cost to remove and ship the machine is the buyers responsibility and is available for local pick-up only.
