Fits Hickok Testers Perfectly! Custom Handmade with Quality Materials! This is a handmade custom-made replacement test lead for most models of Hickok tube testers. It is needed to test tubes with a top cap for the grid or plate connection. Many testers have lost this lead, making it impossible to test tubes with top caps. This lead works with Hickok 532, 533, 539A/B/C, 600, 600A, 750, 752, 800 and many others. The plug is 3/32” dia. (.0938"). Hickok used a proprietary plug and jack. It is larger than a standard tip plug. It is same size as the pins of an octal tube. I custom fabricate these plugs. This is what will be shipped unless you specify otherwise. Some TV-7A/U and TV-7D/U testers use a smaller .080"plug (approx. 5/64”). This is called a "tip plug". I have those available also. If you are ordering for a TV/7, please verify which plug you need. **Banana plug leads for Triplett and B&K testers are available as well** My test lead uses an alligator clip that fits all sizes of tube caps. The cable is Belden heavy duty 18 Gauge, very flexible, finely stranded rubber insulated test prod wire rated for 5kV. The clip is American made, by Mueller, and has a vinyl insulator. The leads are 10" long, which should fit any tester. Longer leads may be custom ordered. The wire is $1.10/ft. I do not recommend longer leads due to the possibility of oscillation, which causes false readings. This listing is for one lead. I make these in both Red and Black. You need only one.
