This auction is for the refurbishment and computerization of YOUR Cardmatic. After winning the auction, simply ship your Cardmatic tester to me, I will personally refurbish it, install the wiring harness, and ship it back to you with a new computer interface box and software. Return shipping is free if you are in the lower 48 states. The compatible testers are the Hickok USM-118A / USM-118B, Western Electric KS-15874-L1 / KS-15874-L2, and the Model 1234. The Cardmatic models 121 and 123A are not compatible. When I say it will be refurbished, I mean it (all of this work will be performed by me personally): * All electrolytic capacitors in the power supplies replaced with long-life 105 degree parts * Grid Signal Amplitude potentiometer sensitivity mod installed * 5U4 rectifier tube replaced with solid state rectifier to remove the heavy filament load from the power transformer * All push button switch decks will be disassembled, cleaned, then reassembled * Selenium rectifiers replaced with silicon diodes * NEW Calibration Cell Included! * Full Calibration The tester you send does NOT necessarily have to work. As long as the meter and power transformer are good, then any other repairs needed are included in the price.
