The Laser Source provides easy coupling and simple power control of the laser diode driven fiber optics. The S1FC Series come with a pigtailed Fabry-Perot Laser diode with single mode fiber behind an FC/PC bulkhead connector. The fiber pigtailed lasers utilize an angled fiber ferrule at the internal laser/fiber launch point to minimize reflections back into the laser diode, thereby increasing the overall stability. This is a very handy laser source for any bench IR applications. The S1FC1550 is a current ThorLabs product with a new price of ~$1341.
