Group 300 Connectivity The RealPresence Group 300 takes up very little space yet it provides high-quality videoconferencing for a conference room setting. One HDMI video output is activated to allow for easy connection to a monitor or projector. The codec is so small, 11"x5"x1", that it can be hidden away and out of view, with all your cable attachments, while the camera mounts neatly on a shelf above your monitor or projection screen. Polycom RPG 5.1 software is currently running on the system, as well as Dual Display Software License. This option enables a 2nd monitor output (HDMI). Unless you are performing remote surgery or using the system to design the next Mars rocket, 720p is what is recommended. 1080p requires a lot of bandwidth and with that need come additional problems with firewalls, networks (especially MPLS networks), and operating costs.
