This is a great item for those who want to be the only kid on the block with their own personal radiaton meter.  It is a great conversation piece.   It even includes a circuit diagram in the case bottom, for those who still believe in one transistor high voltage supplies and one vacuum tube amplifiers. This meter was part of a kit of Civil Defense radiation measurement equipment, supplied to many central, high population areas and government facilities during the early 1960's.  It appears to be "refurbished" at some time, with new paint, etc. The box is clean inside.  The meter responds to the switch "circuit check" and to the zero adjustment. Since I've no source adequate to test the item, it must be sold as is, without warranty. Shipping is to the continental U.S. only. 10
