Vtg Reed Vise 103 & 1/2 3-1/2" Jaws Over 6" Opening Machinist Bench Need cleaned up by the new owner The handle is as straight as I have seen for the age Reed 103-1/2 Vise The vise is in used condition and shows wear with scratches, rub wear, scuff marks, tool marks, hammer marks, nicks, dings, paint drips, oxidation, some areas of surface rust, residue spots, chips to the jaws and other parts, there are a few numbers imprinted to various spots and I believe these are done after production, it's handle is straight, grease residue, discoloration, casting imperfections, and possibly other general wear. Be sure to check all of the pictures closely, including the additional pictures under the international shipping information listed below, for the best idea of the general cosmetic condition of the item. The vise has 3-1/2" jaws and the jaws open to a little under 7 inches before the dynamic jaw is able to be pulled away from the static jaw. One side of the vise is marked No. 103 1/2 and the other side of the vise is marked Pat. Dec. 24, 1912, Pat. Aug. 11, 1914, Reed Mfg. Co., Erie, PA., U.S.A.
