This is a great working lathe that we have been using for multiple years in our wood shop. We used it to turn out wood chandeliers and lamps. We purchased it new in 2005 and it has performed flawlessly. Unfortunately we have sold our business and the new owner has his own lathe. This is the best built hydraulic copy lathe built on the market. Some of the key elements of this latest generation of hydraulic copy lathes are: The application of hardened ball transfer guide’s which the carriage rides on. Having the hardened guides on the bedways, and the ball bearing slides on the carriage, assures a superior cut quality and dependability. This lathe has two cutters which allows a lot of wood removal in a single pass. This is a turn key system with the included V cutter profile sharpening machine with diamond grinding wheel. This lathe requires 220 3 phase to run it and the sharpener both.
