The Solar Cells Encapsulant Kit is a two-component liquid silicone rubber used in the manufacturing process of solar panels. It is designed to stiffen and protect photovoltaic cells against climatic factors in varying temperatures. The kit includes Polsil Solar 0.5l, Katalizator Solar 40 ml, a test report, and an invoice. To prepare the composition, a suitable dosage of catalyst is measured and mixed with Polsil Solar at temperatures ranging from +15 to +30 В°C. Polsil Solar should be hardened using Katalizator Solar in the amount of 6 to 8 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of Polsil. After complete "flooding" of cells, check for entrapped air bubbles and remove them gently. The mixture of Polsil Solar with the catalyst should be prepared just before use and used up within 45 minutes. Total cross-linking time with 8 parts by weight of the catalyst is maximum 48 hours at air humidity within 40-60% and at room temperature. The product should be stored in original, sealed containers in well-ventilated rooms at temperatures not exceeding 30В°C.
