1.2 GHz pre-scaler module.  Unit has a 50 ohm input and was tested on my Icom  IC delta 1A on 2 meters 70 cm and 1.2 Ghz with a simple antenna probe.  Operates on a single 9 volt battery  and drains less than 5 ma for long battery life.  Unit is fully assembled and was tested with an HP 5304 frequency counter and an archaic Fairchild 8220 frequency counter with the Icom IC delta Triband  HT.    The Tracking Oscillator on my HP 141T spectrum analyzer package was able to deal with the 1.280 MHz signal from my Icom IC delta 1 HT, the other HP 100 MHz counters were a bit touchy with the 1.285 test signal since the 120.85 signal coming from the pre-scaler was a bit higher than the the other HP counters.  However, the pre-scaler had no problem with that signal. I added another counter to the test list.  A little B&K 1827  20 MHz gadget I picked up at a swap meet for 10 bux some years back.  The Prescaler extended the range of this unit to just over 200 MHz as noted in the JPEG.  A mostly worthless unit is now good to over 200 MHz.  If you have an old B&K 1820  80 MHz counter the Prescaler will of course turn it into an 800 MHz unit.  Thank you for the read Bob, KE6F   Thank you for the read.
