Every one of the my eggs I opened has a "bulls eye" (picture # 2). These eggs are from the same pens i have sold eggs from this year. Some of them laid the same day and I had more eggs than buyers. THIS is why breeders get frustrated when people message and say "nothing developed" or leave negative feedback saying “nothing hatched “. I have hatched over 500 chicks out of these pens. They WERE FERTILE when they left my possession. Shipping eggs is very, very hard on the development process. If the eggs arent completely scrambled in the first place. If you are buying shipped hatching eggs you MUST understand that there is no guarantee you will get one single solitary chick. The risk is too high. So no, i dont guarantee eggs. No, I don't "have to" replace or refund anything. YOU CHOSE to buy hatching eggs shipped through the mail. YOU assume ALL risk of loss as the buyer. If you want a guarantee of live birds, BUY LIVE birds. Yes, they are more expensive per bird. But for that 150 bucks in eggs, you could have gotten a top notch trio of whatever you were wanting. Regardless, its not the sellers fault that your eggs didnt incubate. (Yes, I know there are crooked sellers out there. Im talking about the 95% of good ones). Most of us do try to compensate for hatches that didnt go well. I have sent out several sets of eggs for the cost of shipping. Why? Because i want people to have a good experience. And i genuinely feel badly when people dont have a good hatch. But i am in NO WAY OBLIGATED to do so. Messaging me, telling me i am, is the surest way to make sure it doesnt happen. Buyers have a "bad seller" list. And sellers have a "bad buyer" list. Understand what youre getting into BEFORE you make a large purchase. **** We cannot guarantee how our egg(s) will be treated while they’re in transit through the postal system nor can we guarantee delivery within a specified time after we ship the eggs. Extreme temperatures, low air pressure in airplanes, rough handling, delays in transit and delivery, and X-ray machines can all affect the hatch-ability of eggs... But we do label boxes with bright yellow and orange stickers stating their live contents on hopes of better care. We also cannot control the conditions under which you incubate the eggs. When you receive, gently unwrap and let sit for 24 hours on their side so they can settle before placing in your incubator.
