This listing is for 10+ French Wheaten Marans. My birds will do well shown and are bred to the APA standard from comb to tail. I like the nice creamy wheaten color in breast and the lighter color of the wheatens which differentiates them from the black tailed buff marans (as it should) with rich wheaten colored hackles. My birds are the result of several lines including Beverly Davis. Flocks are NPIP AI tested OK #3478 I hatch the marans at lower humidity days 1-18 with optimal results. 35-38% humidity days 1-18 60-65% humidity days 19-21 Temp 100 throughout I take care in collecting, packing, and shipping eggs to allow the best hatching rate possible for you. Eggs are DOUBLE BOXED and inserted in an inner carton in a fixed position. The inner carton is also FOILED in case of accidental X-ray. I get excellent feedback about hatches and attribute it to the way I pack. I always try to include extras. Eggs are shipped USPS priority from Oklahoma to the continental U.S. and Alaska. I can work with you as to when you'd like them to go out. All this said, please be aware we can not guarantee how the eggs are handled once they leave our hands and therefore, can not guarantee hatching rate. It is recommended to allow eggs to 'settle' for 12-24 hours and to warm to room temperature before placing them in your incubator. You will be contacted when your eggs ship.
