Have 6+ LF Barnevelder eggs- WE ARE NPIP from a pen with a black rooster (from Chad Stoner) covering 2 black hens and 2 blue hens. One black hen is from Chad Stoner, one is from our breeding. One blue hen is from TLS Ranch and one is from our breedings. Barnevelders are a gorgeous AND sweet & gentle breed who lay a terra cotta colored egg that is often speckled. They are normally able to be sexed at hatch (there are a few that could go either way) depending on the amount of white on their chests (girls have little to none, and boys normally have a full white bib) Pictures of current birds in breeder pens can be found on our website here: http://www.poultrybylinda.com/b-b-s-barnevelders.html Fertility has been between 90-98% so far this year from our Barnevelder pen (have done several hatches here) we have hatched out several hundred chicks this spring (with around 30 barnevelder chicks being the monthly average) and are done with hatching for the year- so If you would like eggs- here is your chance. READ BELOW THIS BEFORE ORDERING EGGS We have been incubating every 2-3 weeks on eggs we offer for sale SINCE MID FEBUARY - so we know what the fertility rate is on average before shipping. Remember hatching eggs are a gamble - You could get a great hatch - or a really crappy one Due to many of the reasons listed below.
