The Shielded Plenum Rated Fire Alarm Cable is a suitable option for various applications, such as fire alarms, smoke detectors, and burglar alarms. It can also be used for voice communications and power limited circuits in air return plenums and indoor non-conduit applications per NEC. The cable has solid soft drawn bare copper conductors for reliable performance. It comes with an overall aluminum mylar tape shield over cabled conductors that has a stranded tinned copper drain wire. The cable has a red low smoke polyvinyl chloride PVC jacket that is suitable to be operated within temperatures ranging from -20В°C to +60В°C.
