It is a great tool that magnifies the capability of JYE Tech oscilloscopes many times. Now with jyeLab your oscilloscope has not only the flexiblity of easy carrying around but also endless storage and processing power. You can conveniently do a field capture, where even a lap-top could be hassles, and bring data back to PC for storage and analysis. Needless to say, the PC screen is a great compensation for that on standalone when used under lab conditions.   This is the first and preliminary release of jyeLab. The current version only has the basic function to display waveforms on PC. And it only supports DSO 094 for the time being. But before long it will be revised. Limitations and requirements of jyeLab (as of v0.40)   jyeLab only runs under Windows It supports DSO 094 only currently Pre-installation of USB virtual COM port driver (for CP2102 from Silicon Labs) is required. The driver can be downloaded here The standalone (currently DSO 094 only) must be upgraded to supporting firmware (version 113-09401-050 or later for DSO 094). COM port baudrate was fixed to 38400 bps, which makes waveform refresh slow (particularly for large record length). It will be upgraded to 115200 bps or more in future.   Usage Use of jyeLab is straightforward and easy. No installation required. Most operations are self-explained. To start please follow these steps: Download the application and unzip all the files to the same folder. Install USB virtual COM port driver (see "requirements" above) if you haven't done so. Connect your JYE Tech standalone oscilloscope (Device) to a USB port on the PC. Start jyeLab and power up the standalone. Identify the virtual COM port that connects the standalone and select it. You can do this in the menu "Options -> Port Setup". Click the button "Connect". You can see the connection status light turn green if connection success. To disconnect click the "Disconnect" button. Alternatively you can press the [HOLD] key on the standalone.   DSO094 not only can work in ordinary Y/T mode but also work in Y/X mode where it can graph relationships of any two signals. This makes it much more useful. This is very useful when combined with NORMAL trigger mode to capture and compare multiple waveforms that meet certain trig condition. You can manually erase waveform and display. This will help you to get better viewing result especially for slow signal graphing. The trigger sensitivity is adjustable. This enhances the stability of capturing noisy signals. 094 is very easy and straightforward to use. No annoying command navigations. Parameters are logically grouped and can be fast adjusted with rotary encoder.
