Since some of my PURE girls are at the end of there cycles and not producing eggs for a few months. I have decided to add one of my BLACKEST 100% PURE Ayam Cemani Rosters in with my hybrid hens. This roster is a FM dominate genetic roster he has NEVER produced a throwback. However, mixing him with a hybrid may produce other colors then black. For example White, Red, Brown, Green, Purple, and Platinum ect… it’s really hard to say. But I can say for sure there is no other ebay seller on ebay that I am aware of offering this opportunity. Note: He does have mulberry coloring in his comb when he is exited (For example when I cought him to take these pictures lol!!) or when he is in breeding season. These are Hybrid Ayam Cemani Chicken Hatching Eggs, they are a hybrid and NOT 100% Pure. You will receive EXACTLY 12 eggs! These are the brown cream colored eggs or white cream colored eggs. One bloodline produces a brown cream the other a white cream. They are alittle larger then 100% pure Ayam Cemanis eggs. Please look at picture above the hybrid is on the right the pure blood in on the left. There about 55g+ compaired to 45g for 100% Pure Ayam Cemanis are extreamly rare and hard to come by in the USA, there are only three 100% pure bloodlines in the USA that I am aware of. Ayam Cemani, the Indonesian chicken breed known as Ayam Cemani are completely black: black plumage with a beetle green shine, black legs and toe nails, black beak and tongue, black comb and wattles, black meat and bones and even dark organs. The Ayam Cemani is one of the most beautiful chickens in the world!! In Asia, the Ayam Cemani is believed to have mystical powers in their black meat as they are for their extraordinary inked-black feathers that shimmer with a metallic sheen of beetle green.Ayam Cemani is a friendly bird, and the hens lay about 60 creamed colored with a slight pink tinted eggs their first year. The average egg weight is 45 g per egg. The roosters weigh 2-2.5 kg and the hens from 1.5-2 kg. Black Australorps,this breed originated in Australia developed from Black Orpingtons imported from England; and the emphasis of the breeding program was on egg production without sacrificing too much in size and meat quality. Some sensational results were made in the Australian program, and one hen set a laying record of 364 eggs in 365 days. They are certainly one of the best layers of light brown eggs of all the heavy breeds. The Black Australorps that glossy black plumage which has a greenish-purple sheen and black feet and nails makes for a handsome sight. They are a great breed to hyrid with the Ayam Cemani's. Hybrid Results: The Hens are 75% Pure Ayam Cemati and the Rooster is 100% Pure Ayam Cemati. When you breed these two togeather you get a stronger healthyer chicks. The Hybrid on average lays more eggs then a Pure Ayam Cemani on average they lay 150+ eggs a year. On average they will start to lay at about 26 -30 weeks of age. Please look at pictures above for examples of the Hybrid chicks. They tend to hatch eaither all black, or Black with some yellow/white down on the chest and somtimes on the face. The skin color vaires alot from all black to some white in the feet, toe nails, all black beak to black red brown beak color.The yellow/white down normally turns black somtimes there are a few feathers of white. But normaly the white feathers dissaper after the first moult or by five months of age. I can not guarantee the color of chicks this is just my hatching results from many hatches. Blood line Records: To my knowledge there are only a few 100% Pure blood lines of Ayam Cemani in the USA. The genetic pool is very small and inbreed really bad!! Even in Indonesia I have heard that the breeders have a very low 25% hatch rate. (We have a 85%+ hatch rate at our facility for our 100% Pure Ayam Cemani's, however we keep stud book records.) Do not get Because the Ayam Cemani's breed in general are inbreed so bad, this can lead to a number of genetic weaknesses in the flock: curled toes, splayed legs, crooked beaks, difficulty hatching, etc. Inbred animals lack vigor and overall health. Successful breeding programs maintain genetic diversity to the greatest extent possible. Inbreeding can be calculated using a formula called the inbreeding coefficient. The inbreeding coefficient is used to calculate the likelihood of homozygosity in the offspring. Too much inbreeding leads to inbreeding depression. Basically, this is the opposite of hybrid vigor. For example, Shoffner (1948, in F. M. Lancaster’s (Genetic and Quantitative Aspects of Genealogy) found that, for every 10% increase in the inbreeding coefficient, chickens lost an average of 4.36% in egg hatchability and the capacity to produce 9.26 eggs per year. Even small increases in inbreeding can affect fertility, hatchability, and delay sexual maturation (Sewalem et al. in British Poultry Science, 1999, 40: 203–208). In conclusion you should have a higher hatch rate and stronger heathier chicks from this hybrid breeding program.
