Muscovy Duck hatching eggs - exactly 12 eggs.  My Muscovies are free-range so you will get fertile eggs.  I gather your eggs from 4 - 5 different ducks' nests.  I will send you hatching instructions when you buy my eggs so you should be able to get ducklings to hatch in your incubator.  Muscovy duck eggs ARE hard to hatch if you don't know how to do it.  If you are a novice at hatching eggs, don't buy these eggs.  You will need 2 tools to be successful in hatching Muscovy eggs - a candle (a small flashlight with a head about 1" diameter and a meter to tell you the humidity in your incubator).  My colors are Black, Black and White (some are stunningly beautiful), Lavender, Blue, Chocolate, Silver, Fawn and many combinations of these colors.  I seldom will hatch a white duckling.  I have feather patterns in the following - rippled, barred, piebald, pied, and white-head.  I cannot promise what colors you will hatch.  The ducks pick their own mates since they are free-range. Eggs are candled before they are packed to make sure - 1) the air sacs are small - means fresh 2) the air sacs are attached all the way around, a nice circle - means no damage to air sac 3) no floating air sacs - will not hatch 4) no hairline cracks in the shell. PLEASE candle your eggs upon arrival to check for the same things listed above.  Any damage will be from the shipping - don't turn eggs for the 1st 10 days that have been damaged in shipment.  Also, please candle your eggs after 1 week in the incubator to check for fertility. Your eggs will be packed well so they should arrive in good shape for you to hatch out unless the box is dropped.  I use the largest USPS Priority mail shipping box - 12" x 12" x 8" tall.  The eggs are padded well in the center of the box with crushed newspaper all around them.  It takes me about 45 minutes to pack your eggs. Your eggs will be packed well.  Nevertheless if the box is dropped or takes a hit during shipment, the eggs may not develop.  Please be aware of that risk. Muscovy eggs take 35 days of incubation so don't throw them out after 21 days (the number of days to hatch a chicken) or 28 days for a goose or other type of duck egg. If you have some Muscovies already, a Muscovy female will be glad to let you slip some eggs under her for her to hatch for you.  I have females sitting already and have about 25 ducklings available right now.  Contact me if you are interested in ducklings. My birds are tested by the Department of Agriculture.  They are NPIP-certified and AI Clean.
