  This  was part of a 4wd  transfer case   and  it was used to shift a truck  into 4wd electrically     .   It has 3 mounting studs  on the back  and a single wire .  When  +12 volts is applied to the wire  and  any  of the studs  is grounded  it is energized.  The face  of it is flat  , the top surface  in the pic  has a radius   I tested it and it works .It  becomes  magnetic  and  lifted several pounds    , I'm not sure  what the max  is  I applied 12volts   at 2 amps  to it  .   I'm not sure  how many amps  it could safely take  for  short periods   .  I didn't  attempt to put more than that through it. The outside  diameter is just under 5.375 inches   and the inside is  3.875 inches approximately. Its  about   1.375  inches  tall. and weighs  3 pounds
