This is a pre-owned Tecan microplate washer, model Columbus Pro, in great working and cosmetic conditions, the device has been tested several times. The instrument is a microprocessor controlled washer, designed specifically to wash microplates. The instrument can be fitted with either an 8,12,16 way manifold which are fitted with one aspiring and one dispensing needle per well.

This microplate washer has three hoses on the back for wash fluid, rinse fluid and waste outlet, and a row of 12 dispensers on an overhead rack for washing the wells of a microplate. It can take plates in either orientation (12 wells wide or 8 wells wide), and can be set to rinse only a specified number of rows. One of the 12 wash nozzles is missing but might be replaceable, it's hard to tell whether it snapped off or just fell out of the socket.
