We have four identical expansion joints, WITH 316 stainless steel backing rings. These are for air duct, specifically wastewater / foul air duct, but could be used for other things as well. We purchased them, with a lot of others, for a big job a while back, but ended up not needing this size.

These shears appear to be in great condition other than minimal wear from sliding around in a tool box. I tested these shears on a thin piece of aluminum a/c duct I had in the garage and they cut well, but the blades are replaceable if needed. I purchased these cutters at a local estate sale and do not know their history.
