Here's a 1920's Sterling 401 Tube Tester manufactured in Cleveland, Ohio. The tester is in its original cardboard box and comes with an engraved base Western Electric 205-D tube. The tube filament tests good, but the tube's emissions are very low, and the tube is not suitable for audio applications. It's suitable only for display. The tester is in good cosmetic condition, and I suspect that it still works, though I have not attempted to use it. Accordingly, it is being offered for historical purposes only, with no representations stated or implied. The box is in good condition, with some splits in the corners, but no damaged or missing panels. Please review the photographs and consider them an integral part of the description.
