This is a vintage original catalog of road building machinery and related equipment issued by the Austin Western Road Machinery Company of Chicago, Illinois. This is General Catalog No. 28 issued for the 1928 model year. This catalog is an oblong booklet format of 60 pages plus the covers measuring about 11” x 8.25” with an additional cover sheet about the catalog loosely inserted. The front cover indicates: THE AUSTIN-WESTERN LINE – Road Making, Rock Crushing, Earth Handling, Street Cleaning Machinery This catalog is beautifully illustrated throughout and features a wide variety of equipment including Blade Graders, Motor Graders, Motor Rollers, Steam Rollers, Street Sweepers, Snow Plows, Jaw Crushers, Drag Scrappers and more. This catalog is a vintage original fully complete and well intact with light handling wear and modest toning from age. The catalog has a dealer ink stamp on the front cover and title page.
