This listing is for a 1950s Vintage French beekeepers or bug protection hat. This a rather hard to find French Military hat that may have originally been designed to fit over a helmet.  Made by J Mille Company in Villeurbanne France marked FRANCE and ARMEE.  It has a canvas top with netting that hangs down  to cover face and neck. The had does smell of age being stored in a garage for a few decades and has 5 small holes in the netting. There is an inner elastic band to fit on your forehead. The rim of the hat is 10.75 inch in diameter. Condition as per pictures.   This would make an excellent addition to any collection.
