Why not turn the world into a better place? Here is a great solution for your packing needs! About the same cost as Styrofoam peanuts, Shred paper protects your product just as well and is environmental safe! Styrofoam is similar to plastic bags in which it takes a very very long time to break down naturally. It sits in landfills for a very long time. A lot of municipal and commercial waste is brought to incinerators in the area. The Styrofoam is then burned. The problem is it can be very toxic when burned and produces very little energy from combustion. There really isn’t a good disposal method for Styrofoam. So, why not use a recyclable material that does the same job as the bad guy called "Styropeanut"??? Besides, shred paper can be used for many other functions instead of packing, such as animal bedding, composting, fire starter, paper recycling projects, paper-mache, base for a no-dig veggie garden instead of cardboard or newspaper, mulching, stuffing a scarecrow, etc! You may send these suggestions to your customer, so they will have some ideas of how they can use the paper instead of tossing it. This listing is for about 2 lbs of shred paper done from junk mail, old notebooks, my daughter's scrib scrabbles, so on. Customers have been very pleased to receive their item cushioned in shred paper because of well protection and ease of safe disposal and reclycing.
