The item here is a lightweight insulating castable. Water will be added on site and mixed, and then shaped via casting to make a concrete-like material, which serves as a strong, rigid thermal insulation. The castables can be used as very thermally efficient insulation to a dense refractory lining.
The item is a new ceramic fiber board with dimension of 600 mm x 450 mm x 50 mm (24 x 18" x 2") that has a classification temperature of 1260°C (2300°F) and a density of 300 kg/m^3 (18 sf/c). It can be used as thermal insulation of furnace, oven, stove and other heating treatment equipment. This board was purchased to replace the target board in my boiler.
