TECHNI PRINT 4.0 HEAT TRANSFER PAPER TECHNI-PRINT® 4.0 Papers are designed for both fuser oil and oil-less laser printers and copiers. They are for the heat transfer of photos and images to light colored T-shirts, sweatshirts, mouse pads, coasters, puzzles, handbags, binders, pad folios, paper, leather, magnets, wood veneer, nylon and more. Choose garments that have a tight weave. Best for use on high heat laser printers or copiers. PRINTING 1. Mirror the image. 2. Load the paper so that the image will appear on the coated side of the paper. 3. TECHNI-PRINT® 4.0 Paper should be fed into the printer or copier with the short dimension first (grain long) using the By-Pass door of the printer. 4. Start with “Plain Paper” mode. If toner does not fuse completely, adjust to a heavier paper setting. 5. Trim away any unprinted areas of the transfer if desired. TRANSFERRING Commercial Heat Press Only (No Hand Iron) 1. Pre-press garments to get the wrinkles and moisture out . 2. Place the transfer sheet face down (backing paper facing you) on the substrate and press: 20-30 seconds at 375o F using heavy pressure 3. Peel while still hot. For best “Hand”, lightly stretch the garment immediately while still hot. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: Turn garment inside out and wash in cold water using a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Dry on low heat setting. Do not iron directly on the transferred area.
