3 Brass Hit and Miss Engine (and other machinery) Grease Cups Large Lunkenheimer and 2 Smaller Ones Up for bid are 3 brass grease cups for Hit and Miss engines, tractors, etc. These are all in quite nice condition (with variations noted), with the expected basic wear, reflecting their age (early 20th century). All of these are original pieces. I describe them below, and strive to give their National Pipe Thread (NPT) size (for where they screwed into the engines). All are clean, and all the threading works well. All are made of brass. These are described below: 1 large Lunkenheimer brass grease cup that is stamped on its cap LUNKENHEIMER CO. CINCINNATI O. over MARINE NO 2 (see photos). The body is 2 inches in diameter, with a 2 inch diameter knurled cap. It is in nice condition except for the bottom of the hex nut where someone used the wrong size wrench above the inch NTP(M). 1 unnamed brass grease cup with a ca. 1-inch diameter body. The interior screw shaft includes a gasket (see photo). Very good condition. inch NTP(M). 1 small Lunkenheimer brass grease cup that is stamped on its side LUNKENHEIMER CIN.
