This is a hose coupler or adapter to a fire plug Hydrant that is female 3" on one side and 2 5/8" on the other. The full length is 3" and it is about 4 1/4" wide at the wings. It is chrome which is in great condition, not all beat up.

Up for sale is a quantity of 2.5" fire hose. The hose has been pressure tested to 300 psi, however, the hose has been taken out of service due to its age, not due to its condition. The hose is in fair to good condition and is approximately 15 years or older.

Used to connect fire hose on multiple inlet fire dept connections. Acts as a check against an excess backflow of water. Material:  Cast Brass Polished where ExposedInlet:  2.5" Female Hose ThreadOutlet:  3" Female NPT UL Listed Not suitable for drinking water.
