The mounts are made of bronze with nickel chrome plating and are very heavy. These pieces were previously handrails, mounts/posts, and prop shafts from a 42-foot motor yacht. This article discusses the availability of 316 Stainless Steel marine grade tube shaft bar rail post measuring 1" in diameter.
