Collagen Casings for 40 lbs of fresh sausage Great for hunters. Just add your favorite seasoned meat. 32 mm diameter.  Edible mahogany collagen casings for fresh homemade sausage like bratwurst, smoked links, hot links, kielbasa and others.  Two packs.  Each pack has one fresh strand that holds approx 20 lbs of meat.  Traditional mahogany color.  Just slip the casing strand over your slim stuffing tube.  Requires the standard 3/4" stuffer tube.  These casings are fully edible and easy to use.  Fill with your seasoned meat and place in your smoker, oven or preferred method of cooking.  Our collagen casings require no preparation prior to use.  They are permeable to allow smoke to penetrate.  Just load and fill.  If this is the first time that you have used collagen casings you will see the difference in the ease of use.  Most national meat packaged processors now use the natural collagen casing instead of sheep or lamb.  Store unused casings for up to 2 years.
