I use them for both sitting and reclined positions. Periscopics from 420specs are a life changer for folks who are bedridden or facing health issues that prevent them from moving. particularly neck and back problems. I have spinal issues that prevent me from enjoying my favorite television shows or work on my Computer. With these I can see from any position. Even at an angle sideways from my pillow.
