The Cayuga has black plumage with a beetle green sheen. The legs and beak are black. They carry themselves upright with a long neck. The Cayuga is considered easy-to-handle and very hardy. They adapt to cold weather. The do well as free-range. They are considered good egg layers, laying up to 100 - 150 eggs per year. We will ship a minimum of 6 eggs, more if available. We are members of the American Poultry Association,  Ayam Cemani Breeders Association, Marans Chicken Breeding Club USA,  registered with the FWC, NPIP certified, and AI negative. This is a pre-sale for eggs harvested the day of or after the auction has ended. Shipping hatching eggs can be unpredictable. We will do our best to keep them safe in shipping.
