Up for bid are 6+ of our gorgeous, extremely rare Isabella Leghorns hatching eggs from our 2 pens totaling 18 females and 6 handsome roosters. You will be receiving the freshest pick upon the end of the bidding. As you can see, we have hand selected all of our breeders from the original flock to attain only the purest colorations without any of the flaws that are prevalent in mal-bred Isabella Leghorns (misshapen feathers, spots on the feathers, leg and egg coloration to name a few). This is our greatest attempt to add only the best characteristics to the breeding flock. Isabella Leghorn is an uncommon and relatively modern variety of leghorn chicken . They are derived from lavender strain of black orpingtons and brown leghorns. After careful and selective breeding of 5 generations, the reproducible Isabella Leghorn is attained. They are elegant birds that are excellent layers of large white eggs that have a wonderful gloss to them. They are excellent foragers and fantastic layers of about 300 eggs per year (6 eggs per week). Not only are they elegant, they lay beautiful large white eggs as well. Make sure to get some for a beautiful addition to your flock! Once shipped , care and handling is out of our control. As with all internet purchases of hatching eggs, hatch rates can not be guaranteed as there is no way to control the handling of eggs by the post office, However, our shipping includes FREE Insurance, up to 50.00 by USPS, should the eggs be negligently damaged in transit by USPS. Please do not base feedback on hatch rate as that is out of our control. At our farm, our hatch rates are well over 95% Payment: Immediate payment is required in order to assure the freshest eggs possible without delays. We ship Monday-Wednesday depending on auction end date. We typically take 2-3 days max to collect the freshest eggs. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY.
