Here is a vintage ACCURATE Instruments model 161 Radio Vacuum Tube Filament Tester for various size tubes like 12AX7, 6SN7 and 6SL7 etc. Cosmetically the tester is in good condition. Has a good sturdy handle and lid and latch, and some wear and tear on the outside of the case. I tested it with several different tubes and it does work as you can see, BUT IT ONLY TESTS FILAMENT NOT EMISSIONS, NOT MUTUAL CONDUCTANCE ETC. But since most tube failures are due to bad/open filaments this would "weed out" most common tube failures. As shown in the pictures, the little amber indicator light comes on with power up (it is kind of hard to see in the bright lighting of these pictures), light stays on when you insert a tube if the tube is bad, if the tube is good the light goes out! Very simple to use! It also has a volt ohm meter too but I did not test it so I do not know if the meter part works. Tester has not been repaired nor refurbished since I have owned it, so due to it's age I cannot guarantee accuracy and may still need some repairs/calibration.LOW BUY NOW PRICE SO BUY RIGHT NOW!
