This non-skinning sealant has a service temperature range of -60-F to 200-F and an application temperature range of 10-F to 120-F. Moreover, it resists fungal attack, does not support mildew growth, and is excellent for sealing between dissimilar metals to prevent electrolysis. Acryl-R SM5430 Non-Skinning Sealant ensures a long-lasting, superior seal for your roofing needs. Acryl-R SM5430 Non-Skinning Sealant is a highly effective solution for standing seam roof (SSR) sealing needs. This unique elastomer-based sealant provides superior resistance to extreme environmental conditions of heat, cold, and moisture. It is ideal for concealed panel joints for roll forming lines and sealing the warm side of concealed exterior polyurethane foam panels. The Acryl-R SM5430 Roof Sealant is asbestos-free and formulated for easy application. This product has excellent adhesion properties to oily GALVALUME-, GALVALUME PLUS-, ACRYLUME-, ZINCALUME-, Kynar 500-, aluminum, aluminized steel, polyvinyl fluoride, siliconized polyester painted metal, concrete, FRP, and glass surfaces. Additionally, it is specially engineered for cold storage (low temperature) applications and remains permanently soft and tacky. The sealant easily engages and transfers to male joints, and factory-caulked panels can be erected in the field up to six months after factory caulking. There's minimal shrinkage, and no cracking or loss of adhesion at -60-F.
