New AIR TURBINE TOOLS 602JS (201js) High Speed Spindle 1/8", 40,000 RPM  600 Series This tool was purchased by our tool room in 2007 but never used. Air Turbine now designates it as 602JS with 3/4 inch mount shaft. Air Turbine Spindles® maintain high speed and torque under load using a patented turbine governor. At governed 25,000 - 90,000 rpm to 1.4 hp (1.04 kW), these powerful spindles have only 2 moving parts – patented turbines and ceramic bearings cooled by airflow. The result is low vibration, low heat and no thermal expansion, and great reliability. Air Turbine Spindles® deliver the power for continuous tool path engagement in corners and hard materials with No Duty Cycle.  We retrofit any CNC machine to milll at constant high speed 24/7 - so any CNC can be a high speed machine. With no gears or High Frequency brushes Air Turbine Spindles® require no lubrication, no maintenance and no control system.
