It is the brain unit that controls the following Alaris Module such as : Alaris 8100 Series Pump Module, Alaris PCA Module, Alaris CO2/SPO2 Module, and Alaris Syringe Pump Module. The unit has been calibrated and electrically safety tested and works excellent without errors encountered during continuous 8 hours of testing. This controller unit has been tested together on the attached module with simulation test on the following ; Downstream occlusion, Upstream occlusion and Air-in-line alarm detection to ensure safety on patients. Safety test and other functional modalities were tested and functionally working. Pressure and Volumetric accuracy measurement were also verified and meet manufacturer's specification during the time of calibration.
