Aluminum Angle 3/4 x 3/4 x 48 in, 1/16 in thick, 12 pieces, Free Shipping Description – I use these angles in building solar panels, but they have lots of other uses. I had to buy a huge lot of them to get a better price. They are very slightly less than a 1/16 of an inch thick. They measure 3/4 x 3/4 x 48 inch. They are easy to work with and are a 3003 type aluminum. They have a rounded bend instead of an extruded sharp edge common to most aluminum angles. Lots of uses, product design, battery holders, hobbies, garden home, LED lighting, work great for flashing on any 3/4 thick material. Some angles may have magic marker on them or light scratches. Light scratches are common, magic marker is rare. Note: If only purchasing one or two angles there is some risk of the angle(s) bending in shipping due abuse of the shipper. Not common, but does happen. If purchasing three or more angles the chances of them bending an angle in shipment go almost to zero because it becomes so much stronger. Visual Requirements These angles may have discolorations or splotches from time to time. This often looks white or sometimes can be a rust color if it picked up some rust from yard operations. This is rare, but if your application requires a good visual appearance please let us know in the notes section of your order so we may double check our stock and make sure your receive our best appearing angles. Safety Notification These angles are formed through a fabrication process and may have sharp edges. We try to keep this to a minimum, but still recommend wearing gloves to protect your hands until they can be fully inspected to make sure it will be safe and will not cause injury to people for your application. The product description says it is less than 1/16th of an inch thick, how much less is it? A. The actual thickness is .050in and 1/16th of an inch is .0625in. The difference adds up to about the thickness of 5 to 6 sheets of paper. Q. Are they straight? A. They are very straight with straightness comparable to a sheet of glass.
